This collection contains various horological patents, including an original patent of David S. Gourley of an alarm mechanism for clocks from the 1930s. A number of the patents are copies that belonged to a patent lawyer, Watson Coleman.
Additionally, this collection contains several drawings and illustrations that are associated with Gourley's inventions. Most of these drawings are rough and are not identified or dated.
