This collection is comprised primarily of invoices and bills sent to the Mather Brothers through the years of 1901-1914. This includes bills and invoices from watch and clock companies, watch case companies, and others.

These records are part of the permanent collection in the archives of the Library & Research Center of the National Watch and Clock Museum and researchers are required to comply with the Archive Rules when using the collection.

Biographical / Historical

The Mather Brothers Company was located in New Castle, Pennsylvania. They were a Jewelers and Silversmith retail establishment that also sold watches. Mather Brothers Company was in business from 1895 to at least 1920.


This collection is arranged in alphabetical order of the companies that the Mather Brothers Company recieved invoices and material from. This is the arrangedment in which the materials were found, however it is unclear if this reflects the original arrangement of the materials.
