George E. Lee Collection
This collection is comprised of over 100 glass plate negatives. These photo negatives were taken by George E. Lee during his time of employment at Cowell and Hubbard Co., where he was employed from 1901-1933. The negatives depict watches and watch movements. Some of the negatives are of watches belonging to the James W. Packard Collection of Unusual and Complicated Watches. However, as the collection is unsorted, it is unclear which of the negatives are associated with the Packard Collection.
This collection also includes several photographs of watch movements that were developed by Lee from the glass plate negatives in this collection.
Furthermore, there are a couple photocopies of articles about George E. Lee. These are biographical in nature, talking about Lee's life and accomplishments as an horologist. There is also one article about the James W. Packard Collection.
