Mark Massey Collection

 Collection
Identifier: MG-333

This collection includes notes on watch clockmakers as well as some correspondence from various companies, such as the E. Ingraham Company, National Magnetic Clock Company, and Tiffany & Co.

The majority of these records are the notes on various watch and clockmakers of the United States, organized by geographic region, and then alphabetically by town or company. There is a specific focus on the eastern United States. In particular, there are folders on Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Georgia, and Philadelphia. However, for Connecticut, the only records in this collecion are from the latter part of the alphabet, with Connecticut towns between S and W.

The majority of these notes include a person or company name, with the years they were active. However, there are a select few records with more information, such as clippings or important dates.
