Walter J. Mulvin Collection

This collection is comprised of the correspondence of Walter J. Mulvin spanning the years of 1951 to 1993, though the bulk of the correspondence is from between 1951 and the 1970s. Much of the correspondence is between Mulvin and various companies, such as the Hamilton Watch Company, the British Horological Institute, and the Adams Brown Company. Furthermore, there is correspondence with the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and several of its members.

This collection also includes several articles, periodicals, and/or catalogs dealing with horology.

Most of the records in the collection are available for photocopy, depending on the preservation needs of the material as well as other variables not specified here. Researchers, however, are responsible for obtaining copyright permission to use materials and documents. These records are part of the permanent collection in the archives of the Library & Research Center of the National Watch and Clock Museum and researchers are required to comply with the Archive Rules when using the collection.
